Who we are
Atlanta Church of God ( A C O G ) came into formation on September 1999 with the blessings and active support of Reverend John Colbaugh, Senior Pastor of Lawrenceville Church of God, GA and Reverend Harold Jones, who was serving as the Church of God State Evangelism Director of North Georgia (Rev. Delbert D. Rose was our Administrative Bishop during that time ).
Atlanta Church of God is a part of the Church of God denomination having its international headquarters in Cleveland, TN.
From its inception, our church has been meeting at the Lawrenceville Church of God premises. We are extremely grateful to Reverend
John Colbaugh (Senior Pastor) and all the Board members of Lawrenceville Church of God who have graciously provided us the facilities
to hold our worship within their church premises. Our prayer is that the Lord may bless them abundantly.
Rev C. V. Andrews has been serving as the Senior Pastor of Atlanta Church of God. He is supported by Rev. Thomas Mathew (
Assistant Pastor), Rev Shibu Cherian (Youth Pastor) and Rev David P. Scheria (Outreach Pastor).
By the grace of Almighty God, Atlanta Church of God has been growing steadily in numbers, and has several active ministries
which includes Sunday School, Bible Study, Counseling and the Ministries of Youth, Ladies & Outreach.
